Pumpkin Time!

This week our class learned all about pumpkins. We discussed the parts of a pumpkin, how they grow, and the different types of pumpkins. The students measured their height in pumpkins and made tear art pumpkins. The favorite activity with the pumpkins was the Pumpkin Carving. The class voted on the faces for the pumpkins and then the helped to clean out the pumpkins. They all really had a lot of fun with every part of the the whole process. Please remember that we are collecting donations for our Toy Basket, any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. Check out our class newsletter that is coming home today for important upcoming events. Below are some pictures of our pumpkin activities. Thank you to everyone who returned the Community Helpers take home project, the students really loved shareing them. Thanks for all your support!
