Strawberry Picking

This was a very fun and exciting week for our students! We have been learning all about bugs this week. Our students have talked about different types of bugs and which ones are safe to be around and which ones to stay away from. We have sorted bugs by color and where they live, counted with them, and we even made our own bugs. The highlight of the week was our trip to the Bamboo Gardens to pick strawberries. The students had a wonderful time walking around the gardens learning about all the different types of bamboo and other various plants. However, most of all they loved picking their own strawberries. A big Thank You to all the parent volunteers, it certainly made a difference having you there.
